Winter 2026
Kids Studio Production Class
Kids Studio Production Class brings the joy of musical theater to life in a dynamic 30-minute performance for ages 8-13! In these focused, small-scale production classes, students dive deeper into character development and rehearse once a week for ten weeks. The session concludes with a performance for friends and family at Project Performer. Emphasis is on actor training rather than spectacle. Every student is guaranteed a role—though space is limited.
Inspired by the hit Disney animated film, Moana Jr. invites young performers to set sail on an epic adventure across the vast Pacific. Follow Moana, a determined and big-hearted teenager chosen by the ocean itself, as she defies expectations to save her island and discover her true destiny. Joined by the larger-than-life demigod Maui, along with unforgettable friends like Pua, Hei Hei, and the spirited villagers of Motunui, Moana faces fearsome challenges—from mysterious sea creatures to the fiery Te Kā—all while learning the power of courage, leadership, and finding one’s inner voice. Featuring beloved songs such as “How Far I’ll Go,” “You’re Welcome,” and “We Know the Way,” this vibrant production offers a diverse range of roles and exciting performance opportunities for young actors ready to grow their skills and shine onstage. Join us as we bring this uplifting story to life and create an inspiring theatrical experience for cast and audience alike.
