Cathy Kiefer is an accomplished ballet instructor with over four decades of teaching experience across renowned dance institutions. Her career includes teaching all levels of ballet, pointe, and variations, from beginners to advanced pre-professional dancers, and she has been instrumental in preparing students for successful dance careers. She has worked with prestigious organizations such as the San Diego School of Ballet and California Ballet School.
Cathy's professional performance background includes being a member of the San Diego Ballet Company and dancing with the San Diego Opera Association. She had the privilege of performing alongside legendary artists such as Alicia Alonso and Placido Domingo in major productions like Swan Lake, Giselle, and The Nutcracker.
Her training is equally impressive, having studied under renowned instructors at institutions like the School of American Ballet in New York and the Centre de Danse International in Cannes, France, where she was chosen as the only American student to perform in a production of Giselle.
Cathy’s teaching philosophy focuses on developing strong foundational technique while nurturing artistry and individual growth. Her dedication to excellence and her passion for dance continue to inspire her students to achieve their full potential.
