REGISTRATION OPENS

Registration is first-come, first-served and a waitlist will open once all 26 performer spots have been filled.

We have received significant interest in this production and anticipate registration filling quickly. Families interested in participating should plan to register when enrollment opens.

Registration secures a performer's place in the production. All registered performers will be cast; auditions are for role placement.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

Hadestown: Teen Edition is a P3 Blackbox production, with all rehearsals and performances held at Project Performer. Blackbox productions offer performers an intimate, ensemble-focused theatrical experience in our in-studio performance space.

Rehearsals Begin: October 31
Rehearsals: Saturdays & Sundays, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Tech: January 10
Performances: January 15, 16, 22 & 23
Production Fee: $350

AUDITIONS

Audition materials and submission instructions will be provided after registration.

Dance Call & Callbacks
Saturday, October 17
11:00 AM–2:00 PM
Project Performer

All performers should attend the Dance Call. Select performers may be asked to stay for vocal and role callbacks.

Cast List: Sunday, October 25 by 8:00 PM

CASTING

Roles include Orpheus, Eurydice, Hades, Persephone, Hermes, The Fates, and Workers.

Our director is open to gender-expansive casting, and performers may be considered for roles regardless of the character's traditionally presented gender.

Named roles will be double cast and perform in three performances. Workers will perform in all six performances.

Specific roles are not guaranteed. Casting will be based on the needs of the production and each performer's strengths.

COMMITMENT

Performers must:

  • Be at least 13 years old by January 15, 2027

  • Be currently enrolled at Project Performer and remain enrolled in at least one class through January 2027

  • Have no more than TWELVE HOURS (3 full rehearsals) of rehearsal conflicts

  • Be available for all required tech and performances January 10–23

All conflicts must be disclosed prior to casting.

Production fees are non-refundable.
